Dr. Pamela Ojha, a board-certified Endocrinologist, is a graduate of the Wright State University Medical School. She received her postgraduate training for Internal Medicine from the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine in Jacksonville, FL (residency), and for Endocrinology from Washington University in St. Louis Missouri (fellowship). Dr. Ojha’s endocrinology interests include thyroid disease, metabolic syndrome and PCOS focusing on the prevention of the onset of diabetes, treatment of osteoporosis, obesity and diabetes. In 2010 Dr. Ojha received recognition for the delivery of Quality Diabetes Care by NCQA (the National Committee for Quality Assurance).
Because of her love of travel and of learning other languages, Dr. Ojha started her academic path completing her undergraduate degree in international business from Ohio State University. She entered the medical field initially as a certified nurse assistant and completed nursing school soon thereafter as an RN. She worked in ICU and telemetry until completing the pre-requisite coursework for medical school.
Dr. Ojha was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to Melbourne, Florida in 2006. When not practicing medicine she enjoys family activities with her two young children including team sports, water sports, and the outdoors.
Languages Spoken: a good knowledge of Spanish, some German, some Hindi.
